Love Island Australia 2022 fans were thrilled to see Mitch Hibberd and Tina Provis finally being dumped from the villa and celebrated their eviction in savage fashion.
During the December 14 episode, the remaining Islanders were forced to vote one couple out, eventually choosing the 2021 winners.
Love Island Australia fans were, unsurprisingly, thrilled at the departure. For weeks, Twitter has been flooded with viewers questioning why showrunners brought Titch back.
Many viewers felt producers were trying to push the couple down their throats, so it’s little surprise that fans were thrilled when they finally got dumped.

Most fans didn’t care about the couple’s second chance at love, especially when rumours sparked that Tina and Mitch didn’t stay together post-filming.
It comes after So Dramatic! reported that Mitch had been spotted with another Love Island Australia alum, Layla John.

Tina told New Idea on December 14 that she and Mitch were “not seeing each other anymore”.
“I think Mitch and I have always been in each other’s lives and still remained friends,” she said.
“There’s no bad blood between us or anything at all. So I think in that sense, you know, never say never but for this time, I think the chapter’s definitely closed.”
Then, in a subsequent interview with 9Now, Tina said they are “the same people that broke up six months ago”.
“Mitch is still in the same place. I don’t think he’s there yet, where he’s emotionally available enough to be in a relationship – and that is so fine,” she explained.
“It’s disappointing, but we did give it a shot and I wouldn’t change anything about my journey in the Villa or even giving things another go.”
The pair also confirmed that while the split was mutual, “it was definitely Mitch” who started the conversation.
“It’s one of those things where it is best for both of us that it went that way,” Tina concluded.
Mitch added: “It was the right and mature call at this time in life. I guess right now the timing just wasn’t right, and I’m so grateful we can still speak and be friends.”
