Love Island Australia 2022‘s Al Perkins has admitted that he faked his feelings for fellow Islander Jessica Losurdo so he could stay in the Villa longer for “f*cking airtime”.
During an appearance on Luca’s Podcast, the controversial reality star was asked if he forged his feelings for someone “just to stay on the Island another week.” And his answer was practically written across his face.
“Oh f*ck. I did. I did,” the 26-year-old confessed. And quick, can someone check on Jess?
“I told the girl I was on Love Island with that I was falling for her just so I could make it further in the Villa,” he dished to host Luca Silvera. WTAF.
“It was really bad,” he laughed. Erm, this ain’t funny, mate.
The former MAFS groom then admitted that he wanted to “get as far as possible in the Villa,” and we mean, at least he’s being honest.
“I was like f*ck… I don’t want to get kicked out of the Villa. I don’t want to get eliminated or dumped early on. You know? I want f*ck*ng air time,” he chuckled.
“So I had to say to this girl: ‘Yeah, I really like you’. And obviously, she would’ve believed it, so we would’ve been a strong couple,” he recalled. Al, we didn’t know you had it in you. This is absolutely WILD.

Now, Jessica, a.k.a Al’s ticket to stay in the Villa, has since taken to Instagram to thank her fans for all of their support following his brutal confession.
“I could literally cry at the immense amount of support I’ve received within the last 48 hours,” the 27-year-old wrote to her Story.
“Your messages and comments don’t go unnoticed. You guys are the real ones – thank you for everything,” she finished.
Despite going over multiple speed bumps, Jessica and Al were the final couple to be dumped from the Love Island Villa, so the podcaster’s wish to stay til’ the bitter end almost came true.
After leaving the Island, the pair dated for a short period before Al brutally dumped her without explanation. And Jess, you dodged a bullet!
