Love Island Australia 2022‘s Al Perkins has been spotted getting hot and heavy on a date with 17-year-old TikTok star, Hope Kelesis.
The 26-year-old reality favourite didn’t find everlasting love with his villa bae Jessica Losurdo. However, eagle-eyed fans noticed he may be off the market again after a recent saucy beach romp.
As reported in episode 243 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one spy slid into the DMs, revealing Al was “on Coogee Beach with some very tanned girl, with long back hair and big boobs”.
“They’ve been making out all day,” they added. “They were throwing sand at each other and playing too.”
The source also sent an image of Al alongside two women, noting that “the girl next to him is the one he was getting it on with”.
A second fan then got in touch to say they also saw Al at the beach, confirming it was Hope he was getting cosy with.
“I saw Al at the beach with Hope Kelesis. She’s very big on TikTok,” they said.
“They were flirting in the water and getting close.”
Now, the elephant in the room: Al is 26 years old, making him eight years older than 17-year-old Hope at the time of writing.
While it is legal (the legal age for consensual sex varies between 16 and 17 across Australia), there has been criticism levelled towards adults dating teenagers because they are still legally considered a minor.

Al’s Married at First Sight co-star Domenica Calarco faced intense scrutiny in June 2022 after telling Robert Irwin he was handsome before asking him to be her date to the Logie Awards.
While some shared her sentiment on the conservationist’s looks, others took issue with it, mainly because Domenica is 29 years old, and Robert had only recently turned 18.
“That’s gross, predatory behaviour,” another user replied to the MAFS bride’s comment. “Be a better human and do better.”
Domenica replied: “Chill out he’s of legal age. Wow.”
This response further aggravated fans, with one taking to the Life Uncut podcast group to voice their concerns.
However, in the comment section of the since-deleted post, Domenica doubled down on her thoughts.
“In Australia, the legal age is 16. He is 18. He can drink alcohol. I can ask him to come to the Logies with me, and say that he is handsome,” she penned.
“Take a chill pill everyone. [sic]”
