There’s a chance that notorious The Block bidder Danny Wallis might not show up at the 2023 auctions.

With the houses on Charming Street set to go under the hammer on November 4, there are lots of rumours swirling about what’s set to unfold.

From producers anticipating the “most explosive” finale yet to suspicions about which Blockheads will win, fans of the renovation show are keen AF to see how the series wraps up.

Since he first appeared on The Block in 2012, Danny has spent over $40 million on properties from the show. As such, it was almost a given that he’d appear again this year.

However, according to an insider, fans shouldn’t hold their breath.

“Rumour has it Danny won’t be there this year,” a Block insider dished to So Dramatic!.

“Because he wasn’t happy about how it all went down last year and felt used.”

ICYMI: Danny found himself locked in a bidding war with Adrian Portelli during 2022’s controversial auctions, which made for a sh*t-ton of drama afterwards.

Another clue that Danny Wallis won’t appear at The Block 2023 auctions

Having been such a big spender over the years, Danny’s interest in a home is almost always indicative of who will win The Block.

Especially when it comes to the Domain Listings Open Homes, where, in the past, Danny has cast his vote for his fave property weeks ahead of auction day. Not only that but he’s also played a starring role in many episodes throughout the series including doing personal tours of the houses and judging challenges.

However, Danny was hardly featured on the show this year. Instead, LMCT+ founder Adrian was front and centre, eventually choosing Kristy and Brett Beams as his number one pick.
