The Block 2023‘s Eliza and Liberty Paschke revealed that they had a “toxic” post-show confrontation with Kristy and Brett Beams and we can feel the tension from here!
ICYMI: The two teams locked horns when Kristy accused Eliza and Liberty of receiving “special treatment” from production.
And during their appearance on the Fifi, Fev & Nick show on September 27, the sister-duo said their relationship with the couple was still rocky.
“It’s really toxic it’s so bad. We saw each other on the weekend and had to be in the same room which was interesting,” Eliza dished, whilst Liberty added that it was “so awkward”.
“I want to make it clear that the people you’re seeing on the show, despite what they’re trying to say now, are the people they are in real life. And we’ve actually been told that it’s been pared back for television,” Eliza continued.
The personal assistant then dished that on the weekend, Kristy told her: “Aww, maybe you shouldn’t have gone on reality TV. Maybe you’re not cut out for it.”
“I kind of think I’m perfect for reality TV because I have real emotions and I’m responding as a real human to bad behaviour that I’m seeing,” Eliza, 37, told hosts Fifi Box, Brendan Fevola and Nick Cody.
“They’re coming on national TV and saying ‘it was all a gameshow to us, everyone knew we were playing games, it was all light-hearted and fun and funny’ but I’m like ‘you’re the only one laughing’.” And did somebody say BURN?
She continued: “[Kristy and Brett’s behaviour] was gross to us and challenged us morally and ethically now off the show more than ever.”

According to Liberty, Kristy and Brett have “realigned” with their on-screen besties turned frenemies, Leah and Ash Milton.
“We can’t understand why Leah and Ash want to realign themselves with these people again when they’re seeing what they’re seeing on TV,” the 34-year-old remarked. And it seems Leah’s apology tour was a crock of sh*t after all!
However, not everyone is rekindling the flame, as according to Eliza, the cast’s WhatsApp chat “diminished the day the show started”, with the teams splitting off into separate groups.
As auction day looms ahead, the girls were asked what they’d do if Kristy and Brett’s house sold for a lot of money.
“We have said we’re gonna have to get therapy,” Liberty joked. “If that happens, it’s almost a reward for bad behaviour and we need justice.”
She added: “I will not be hugging [them]. I’m not gonna be fake. We’re not gonna align with people who don’t morally and ethically align with us.” And that’s why the sisters are TRUE icons!
