The Masked Singer Australia 2023 host Osher Günsberg has called out panellist Abbie Chatfield for making a sexist comment whilst trying to figure out the identity of Fawn.
During the September 18 episode of the quirky singing show, Abbie slammed fellow judge Dave Hughes for a remark he’d made about fashion CEO Pip Edwards.
Dave pointed out that the sporting reference in Fawn’s clue package may have been about Pip’s ex-boyfriend, cricket legend Michael Clarke.
However, the Bachelor breakout star, 28, was quick to call him out.
“She has her own sporting reference in her own right by owning a fitness brand,” she argued. “We don’t always need men to validate women’s accomplishments.”
“Yes, well said!” Mel B chimed in as the audience cheered in agreement.

After putting her co-star in his place, the FBOY Island host contradicted herself when Mel B guessed that Fawn was supermodel Miranda Kerr.
“But she actually doesn’t currently live her life that way,” Abbie remarked. “She currently lives on a bloody farm with a billionaire living the dream.”
“But she’s still a model,” the former Spice Girl clapped back.
Osher stepped in, using Abbie’s logic against her.
“Excuse me, Abbie, she’s a businesswoman with her own empire,” he quipped. “Come on, you don’t have to associate her with the man she’s married to. How dare you!”
Abbie took the comment in good spirits.
“Osher, I’ve never loved you more than in this moment. Thank you so much,” she gushed in response.
After submitting their guesses, the judges were shooketh when it was revealed that Fawn was 10 News First journalist, Sandra Sully.
