The Challenge Australia 2022‘s Emily Seebohm and Ryan Gallagher have revealed that their pregnancy journey hasn’t been easy.
The reality couple announced their pregnancy on July 10 and according to The Courier Mail, the Olympic swimmer has had a “rough” time over the past eight months.
“If you ask me, it’s been awful. I just call myself Shrek these days,” the former I’m A Celebrity star joked, referencing her swollen feet.
During the chat, the 31-year-old also revealed that the couple had already chosen a name for their first child.
“Obviously we didn’t want it to be something super crazy. But we wanted something that was going to be unique,” she gushed.
However, the pair are currently keeping their bub’s name under wraps in case they change their mind.
“Me and Ryan are still under the impression that maybe when we see the baby it’d be different. So we don’t really want to say [the name] yet,” she explained.
Emily also shared that the gender of their baby would potentially be disclosed by this weekend.
The pair started dating in August 2022 whilst filming The Challenge Australia. And in true fairytale fashion, were engaged by March, with plans to marry on the Gold Coast within the next couple of years.
