There will be TWO villains during The Challenge Australia 2022 season, and no, it’s not who you think it is!
The HECTIC season premiered on November 14, complete with “root rat” Ciarran Stott‘s 2.5-second cheating scandal, Cyclone Cyrell Paule yelling at Grant Crapp AND Audrey Kanongara for literally no reason and some physical challenges that we gave no f*cks about.
Surprisingly, the aforementioned challengers weren’t actually the sh*ttiest humans on set, which is not only concerning but a real goddamn shock.
As reported in episode 230 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the villainous pair are none other than newly-minted lovebirds Ryan Gallagher and Emily Seebohm!
According to one contestant, Emily “fought with everyone” during filming.
“Her behaviour was atrocious, and she treated everyone horribly,” the insider dished. “She really lives up to her last name, and we were all calling her the C-bomb behind her back.” AWKIES.
Now, this story does seem to check out since we did see Brittany Hockley yelling, “This is not about you, Emily”, during the show’s recap of the upcoming season.
Why Was Ryan Gallagher a Villain on The Challenge Australia 2022
During the first episode, self-confessed “bogan” Ryan was paired up with Emily, and this is where we’re assuming their little power couple status took flight.
Another contestant confirmed his bad behaviour, saying he wasn’t “well-liked” among the cohort.
“Ryan was so rude to the female cast the entire time. The only female contestant he was nice to was Emily,” they said.
“He is rude and mean and also intimidating.”
The former Married at First Sight groom allegedly used the “f-word slur” against some of the LGBTQIA+ contestants which lead to “several complaints made about him to production”.
“They were considering removing him from the show on several occasions,” the source said.
We guess there are no surprises that Ryan and Emily are dating, then!
