Turns out The Block 2023 contestant Eliza Paschke starred in a Hamish and Andy prank video that went viral in 2016.
ICYMI: The 37-year-old — who is renovating a Charming Street home with her sister, Liberty — worked as an assistant for Hamish Blake and Andy Lee for a whopping 10 years.
As such, it’s no surprise she was wrangled into a prank or two while working on the comedy duo’s famous radio show.
The “Jurassic Carpark” video has amassed a HUGE 16 million views since it hit YouTube seven years ago, and it recently resurfaced online thanks to a keen-eyed Reddit user.
“I knew I’d seen Eliza somewhere before!” they wrote. “For those fans of Hamish and Andy, she’s in the infamous Jurassic Carpark prank!”
In the clip, Hamish and Andy lured their co-workers into their radio station’s parking garage. There, they were confronted by “the most expensive and most realistic dinosaur on the planet”.
Eliza was the first to be pranked and lost her absolute sh*t when the dinosaur confronted her.
“It’s so real!” she said after running back into the lift. “Oh my god, it’s so scary!”
The viral video’s resurgence comes after there was talk that Hamish and his wife, Zoë Foster Blake, would purchase Eliza and Liberty’s finished reno.
However, it’s since been debunked by Andy, who jokingly dished that he was the one to kickstart the rumours.
