The Block 2023 has changed its rules to avoid another cheating scandal and fans think this has made the show “too easy” for contestants.

During the August 7 episode, long-time host Scott Cam shocked teams when he announced that the show’s production schedule would no longer be kept a secret.

He then wheeled in a whiteboard with a week-by-week timeline guiding teams on when they’d be renovating each room.

Many teams were shooketh in a good way, as this knowledge would give them a clear advantage moving forward.

However, fans were less than impressed, with many stating that this new rule made The Block less challenging and exciting.

However, some viewers thought the new rules were “reasonable”.

This comes after former contestant Tanya Guccione was caught taking photos of the filming schedule and sending it to her co-stars back in 2021. Anyone who got a glimpse of these pics was able to plan ahead, leaving the other Blockheads at a disadvantage.

Fans took to Twitter to share their “flashbacks” of this scandal and we don’t blame them, it was ICONIC!

The Block 2023 fans shade architect Steph for her inability to read a floor plan

Now, it wouldn’t be an episode of The Block 2023 without viewers shading Steph Ottavio, so of course, fans dragged her after she couldn’t read a floor plan. Because after all, she’s an architect, if you didn’t know already!
