The fate of Abbie Chatfield‘s radio show Hot Nights has been hanging in the balance after THREE staff members quit in a matter of weeks.
However, it seems like executives at Southern Cross Austereo’s Hit Network have finally found a solution to the problem of who’s going to press the buttons for the reality TV star-turned-influencer-turned-presenter.
As revealed in episode 283 of the So Dramatic! podcast, SCA has decided to combine Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield (which airs from 7=9 pm) with The Jimmy & Nath Show (which airs from 9-11 pm).
Jimmy Smith and Nath Roye had already been keeping Abbie’s co-host’s chair warm so the merger does make sense. However, all three are going to be working a whole lot harder to fill four hours of air time.

Jimmy and Nath were roped in at the eleventh hour to fill in as Abbie’s co-hosts after original co-host Rohan Edwards resigned abruptly on April 17 and her fill-in Hot Nights co-host Nic Kelly quit the following day.
“Nic couldn’t do the long distance anymore, I miss him it’s so hard being away from you,” the 27-year-old said on April 18.
“As a positive, Jimmy and Nath were walking around the office and I said boys ‘Will you come in the studio and do the show with me because I don’t know how to press a button’.”
The show’s executive producer Max Corstorphan also quit in recent weeks.
A source dishes on what’s going on behind the scenes at Abbie Chatfield’s radio show
Abbie’s former co-host Rohan resigned from SCA after six years with the company to “pursue other interests”.
However, it seemed like that wasn’t the full story after he appeared to throw some not-so-subtle shade Abbie’s way in an Instagram post.
When Nic turned down the co-host position it left a lot of people wondering what kind of insane sh*tstorm is going on behind the scenes.
A source dished on the situation telling So Dramatic! “no one wants to work with Abbie”. That’s rough!
“They have been trying to get her a replacement co-host but no one wants to do it. No one wants to work with her as there’s been talk it’s not an ideal situation,” they revealed.
More sources come forward with intel on Abbie and Rohan’s breakup
One of our sources previously said Rohan’s departure was because his girlfriend wasn’t comfortable with his close friendship with Abbie.
Another source has come forward and dished to So Dramatic! that it wasn’t an amicable breakup.
“I have a friend who works at the radio station and I do know that Rohan ended up quitting in the end ‘because Abbie was a b*itch’,” they dished.
However, we’ve also heard reports that Abbie is a “delight” to work with. So we’re really not sure what to believe with all the conflicting accounts. We’re just giving you all the tea!
