Abbie Chatfield’s former radio co-host Rohan Edwards has thrown some not-so-subtle shade just days after he abruptly quit the show.
On April 17, the broadcaster suddenly left Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield to “pursue other interests“.
Despite forming a close friendship with The Bachelor star during their time working on the show, the DJ’s recent Instagram Story has hinted things may no longer be so rosy.
On April 24, Rohan shared a meme that read: “Quit hanging out with people who don’t want you to win” and many fans were quick to believe it might be aimed at the 27-year-old reality star.
To make things even more confusing, one source told Daily Mail that Rohan’s departure came as a shock as he “[got] along well” with Abbie.
“No one’s sure what’s going on. Abbie seems to get along well with Rohan on the air, but people are wondering if things aren’t so rosy behind the scenes,” they dished.
Hmm, we feel like there’s more to this story…
Three staff members have quit Abbie Chatfield’s radio show
Before Rohan resigned, Abbie’s executive producer Max Corstorphan stepped down in the weeks prior.
However, on April 18, Abbie announced that a third staff member had quit Hot Nights.
Regular listeners would have noticed Nic filling in before Easter, but Abbie has revealed that the DJ decided not to stick with the show.
“Nic couldn’t do the long distance anymore, I miss him it’s so hard being away from you,” Abbie shared.
It seems like Abbie’s losing staff faster than Harrison Boon has churned through girlfriends! Something fishy is going on here…
