I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Australia 2023‘s Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins has opened up about a terrifying near-death experience.

During the episode on April 13, the former Bachelor told his fellow campmate Woody Whitelaw about a time he was attacked by a bull.

The thrill seeker even admitted there’s been “a couple” moments in his life where he almost died. Gee Nick, rein it in!

“I was walking through and I looked at that one, I kept an eye on him, and then I got about halfway through and I just heard the hooves,” the father-of-one said of the bull.

“I got two steps in and then I heard the popping sound as the [horns] went through [my side], and it just missed my kidney.

“It went through obviously the fat, the muscle, and then the side of the kidney. The doctor, when I got airlifted or choppered in, they said, ‘That was lucky’.”

Nick said if the horn had pierced his kidney, he could have bled to death.

“That was a hair-raiser,” he added. “I was penetrated by a bull.”

I’m A Celebrity fans hail Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins as an ‘absolute legend’ in the jungle

The dear-death ordeals haven’t dampened Nick‘s sense of adventure.

Fans were impressed when he effortlessly tackled a giant python during his first I’m A Celebrity solo challenge.

Nick was required to keep his hand in the box, which was home to the snake, for 30 seconds.

Then again, we’re pretty sure a few people would cop a snake bite if they too were getting paid the same massive salary as the 35-year-old.

Sources have revealed he’s making around $300,000, which makes “him one of the highest-paid campmates this year,”

“It’s a little less than the $500,000 that he was paid forThe Bachelor, but this is a shorter production with less demands and rules,” the insider dished.
