Nick The Honey Badger Cummins couldn’t handle a mansion full of women during his time on The Bachelor, so fans were pretty impressed to see him effortlessly tackle a snake on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Australia 2023.

The 35-year-old former Rugby player entered the South African jungle as a late arrival and took on one of the most horrifying challenges so far: going up against a massive python.

During the episode on April 11, the camp’s latest addition was sent off to a solo trial consisting of five rounds to win food for his fellow campmates.

It was during the final challenge the 2018 Bachelor was tasked with sticking his hand inside a box with a snake for 30 seconds.

But Nick rose to the occasion and fans love him for it, hailing him an “absolute legend”.

The snake was a non-venomous python but that didn’t stop it from latching its fangs onto Nick‘s hand and drawing blood.

Once the snake was removed from his hand, Nick was quick to laugh it off saying it was “an epic experience”.

“[I] whacked me hand in there and the big fella latched on something chronic,” he said once he returned to camp.

The Aussie larrikin isn’t the first contestant to cop a snake bite on I’m A Celebrity.

Actress and singer Toni Pearen was repeatedly bitten on the face by multiple snakes during the 2021 season.

During the same season, Abbie Chatfield was overcome with panic when she was bitten by a snake during a challenge.

It’s the quintessential I’m A Celebrity experience!
