Married at First Sight Australia 2023 fans are confused AF over Alyssa Barmonde’s delusional claims during the Reunion she dodged a bullet with “fake” Duncan James even though she was literally the source of every problem.
During the Reunion episode on April 2, the mother-of-one left everyone (contestants and all of Australia) scratching their heads thanks to her unique recollection of events.
What went down at the Married At First Sight Reunion between Alyssa Barmonde and Duncan James
“I got dumped, it was a surprise to me,” Alyssa declares at the Reunion.
Oh, the irony! Coming from the very woman who told her doting husband she could only see him three times a fortnight because her child is her priority.
Duncan arrives and we’re expecting s*hit to hit the fan since it’s the first time the pair have been face-to-face after their split.
But Duncan is a true gentleman and goes in for a hug which Alyssa reciprocates, but she does pull a puke face because she’s toxic.

Later in the night, Alyssa had been stewing on her feelings long enough, or consumed enough wine, to grill Duncan about their breakup.
“Duncan, not once did you make me think that you were sitting on the fence about our relationship,” Alyssa sobs.
“You dumped me, bro, you dumped me, Duncan, you broke my heart.
“You made me believe that there was a future for us.”
Duncan, being the top bloke he is says he “wishes there was a future for them”.
“No you don’t,” Alyssa snapped.
Alyssa stormed out of the room and sensationally claims she “dodged a bullet” with “fake” Duncan.
Ugh, just one more night of this Reunion to go.
