As if he hasn’t lied enough this season, turns out Married at First Sight Australia 2023′s Harrison Boon has also fibbed about his career as a builder.

The 32-year-old *alleged builder* told producers and the Australian public that he’s a builder but to put it simply: he’s not. LOL!

As revealed in episode 272 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the former TV groom has never held a building license.

According to NSW Fair Trading, there is no record of the father-of-one ever completing his building licence. The only trade licence he’s ever held is a one-year carpenter’s licence which expired on 26 November 2021.

So if he doesn’t even have his carpentry license, then Harrison must be a labourer!? Weird thing to lie about…

For those who aren’t around the tradie lingo, a builder is held in much higher regard than a labourer, as building licences require many more years of experience and rigorous training.

If being a labourer makes you a builder, then being a reality tea website makes us Beyonce!

Bronte Schofield was confused about what her on-screen husband did for work

One contestant dished to So Dramatic! that Harrison’s story about his job was always changing during filming.

“He told Bronte Schofield he builds luxury homes. Then it changed to: I run my own business. It changed again to, it’s my dad’s business and I’m contracted to it.

“Then another time, they were driving in Sydney and he said, that’s my boss’s house. And Bronte was like, I thought your dad was your boss and he said, ‘oh no, my actual boss’,” the contestant dished.

Bronte was so confused as his story was always changing.”

Ugh, being matched with Harrison would give us a headache!

Harrison made Bronte pay for their dates

The source also revealed that Harrison always complained about not having any money, which we guess wouldn’t be the case if he were an actual builder!

“He would always ask Bronte to borrow money and made her pay for everything when they went out,” they said.

“He told her that he used all of his savings to go on MAFS and that he was down to his last ten grand because he’d spent all his money on his red Jeep.

“When he ran out, he would ask his mum and dad for money and they would happily give him some,” they added.

This is too much!

Harrison was fired from a building job after his employer accused him of stealing

To add fuel to the fire that is Harrison’s life, another source revealed to So Dramatic! that the groom was fired from a building job he had in Forbes after his employer accused him of stealing fuel from a work site.

He then had the AUDACITY to take the company to Fair Trading for ‘unfair dismissal’. But tellingly, he lost.

Seems like he’ll use his gaslighting tactics at any chance he gets!
