Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s Bronte Schofield has shared her thoughts about Harrison Boon’s new girlfriend, Gina.
As revealed in episode 272 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Gina was spotted with the alleged builder’s family celebrating his mother, Noni Boon‘s, birthday over the weekend.
The beauty educator shared her thoughts on her ex-hubby’s new relationship in the comments section of a Yahoo! Australia TikTok, which she’d featured in.
One user commented: “Harrison was always the better looking of you two. Case in point check out his new girlfriend”.
The 28-year-old was quick to defend herself as she responded: “I agree, his new gf is stunning and I wish her nothing but the best with Harrison.
“Dimming someone else’s light won’t make yours shine any brighter,” she added. And YES! We love this side of Bronte!
Bronte Schofield responds to haters on TikTok
Bronte responded to several other TikTok users who made fun of her for how she appeared in the video.
The clip, which was taken before the MAFS reunion in December, shows Bronte telling photographers that she’d “rather sniff paint” than come face-to-face with Harrison again.
One user commented that it was “kind of hilarious” that Bronte seemed “overjoyed to be ‘famous’.”
However, the Western Australian pointed out that it was a damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don’t situation.
“If I was rude I would be picked on for being rude. I’m nice to them and I’m overjoyed by the attention, I can’t win,” the reality star responded.
Another user wrote that Bronte must have “loved the grief” of putting up with Harrison.
“My months of therapy say otherwise,” Bronte noted.
In response to someone who commented that she was “the absolute girl version” of Harrison, Bronte told the user that they were “reaching”, but she understood why they said that.
“I would see it that way watching it back myself, I don’t blame anyone. That DP [the Final Dinner Party] was the real B, not the wimp edit they gave me,” she responded.
One person said they “[forgave] her for being dumb and annoying,” and Bronte replied agreeing that she was “definitely dumb and annoying” on the show.
