FBOY Island host Abbie Chatfield has slammed Domenica Calarco and Ella Ding‘s problematic podcast episode with MAFS 2024 villains Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams, and she had a LOT to say.

Domenica and Ella interviewed the controversial MAFS couple on their Sit With Us podcast in May.

However, fans were shocked when the self-proclaimed feminists sided with Jack after some of his awful behaviour, including telling Jonathan McCullough to put a “muzzle” on his wife, Lauren Dunn.

Things went from bad to worse when Ella victim-blamed Lauren, claiming the bride “knew” Jack had a “temper he could be pushed to”, yet pushed him anyway.

Abbie later took to the comments of the Sit With Us Instagram page, urging the podcast duo to take down their “dehumanising” and “awful” episode.

She later shared her unfiltered thoughts on Domenica and Ella’s interview on her It’s A Lot podcast. And to say she went hard is an understatement!

Abbie Chatfield claims Domenica Calarco and Ella Ding shouldn’t have interviewed Jack Dunkley

On her podcast, Abbie explained that Domenica and Ella’s lack of education about feminism was one of the main reasons their recent episode didn’t land well.

According to Abbie, if you want to have “misogynists” like Jack on your podcast, you must be “equipped to explain to them why what they did was wrong” without “backing down”.

However, it became clear to the TV personality that Domenica and Ella don’t even have a basic understanding of feminism.

“I think the first step, because you aren’t equipped to have these conversations, would be to not have [Jack] on at all,” the 28-year-old asserted. And we couldn’t agree more!

Abbie also claimed the “biggest issue” was that Domenica and Ella “[didn’t] even know why the muzzle comment was wrong”.

“They don’t have an understanding of patriarchy or feminism. They’re claiming they do, and they can profit off it… [But] they’re actually not feminists,” she asserted.

Abbie Chatfield says the Sit With Us episode is ‘HARMFUL’ to victims of abuse

Later in the episode, the Bachelor breakout star explained why the interview was “harmful” to people who had been abused in the past.

According to Abbie, “thousands of people” will hear the podcast and either “get triggered” or “blame themselves if they are victims of abuse of any kind”.

“When you aren’t questioning male violence or language that is violent, you are only being traitors to feminism,” she asserted.

“To speak about sexual assault and verbal abuse in an unhelpful way… All you’re doing is giving ammunition to abusers.” Well said!
