FBOY Island Australia host Abbie Chatfield has exposed her “narcissistic” ex for threatening to spread lies about her and ruin her reputation.
During episode December 12 of her It’s a Lot podcast, Abbie shared a story about an unnamed former partner.
“One thing that a narcissist will do is absolutely destroy, or threaten to destroy, your reputation,” the Bachelor break-out star told her guest Alexis Fernandez-Preiksa.
“[My ex] literally said to me: ‘I’m going to call everyone in the industry and tell them you’re a narcissist and actively ruin your career’,” she dished. Yikes.
The Masked Singer panellist then explained that every time she got into a fight with this mystery ex, he told her he’d spread lies about her.
“He said: ‘If people think they know you, they don’t know you. I’m going to tell them who you really are. I’m going to call all your friends and you’ll have no friends left. You’re going to have nothing unless you’re friends with me.'”
She then explained that she had to try and leave the relationship on good terms and “simmer it down”, otherwise she feared that he’d spread false narratives about her.

Abbie also spilled that her ex used to FILM her during fights, even though she stood still during most of them.
However, she realised she also had footage of their arguments from her ring cameras.
“I’d happily share any footage of our fights because I didn’t do anything wrong,” the 28-year-old explained.
“I had footage of [him] verbally abusing me.”
