Rumours have emerged that serial reality star Abbie Chatfield and presenter Tony Armstrong once had a short-lived romance.
The duo co-hosted the 2023 TikTok Awards on December 6, alongside online sensation Kat Clark, with many reporting an intense “chemistry” between the pair.
Turns out, that vibe could be attributed to a past fling, according to the Daily Telegraph‘s Saturday Confidential.
Per the publication, Abbie and Tony “spent the night together” following the 2022 Logie Awards, and further “tried to make a go of it”.
The outlet cited that “numerous sources” confirmed the pair “hit it off” at the event last year, but their attempted relationship “didn’t quite work out”.
While Abbie chose not to respond to Confidential‘s tea, former AFL star Tony gushed about the FBOY Island Australia host.
“Abbie’s brilliant. I think she’s super smart,” the ABC presenter told the outlet.

At the TikTok Awards, which were held at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, onlookers acknowledged the energy between Abbie and Tony.
“You could absolutely notice the chemistry between these two on stage,” one audience member told Saturday Confidential. “It was palpable. The third host Kat Clark was a third wheel.
“It’s a shame it didn’t work out for them. They would have made a fun couple.”
Since the duo’s alleged romance in 2022, Tony hard-launched his relationship with musician Rona Glynn-McDonald on November 29.
Meanwhile, Abbie has remained mum on her dating life since her public split from The Bachelorette 2021‘s Konrad Bien-Stephen in August 2022.
