Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s Cameron Woods has revealed what he was going to say in his Final Vows before his on-screen wife Lyndall Grace cut him off.

ICYMI: During the March 27 episode, the bride brutally dumped the carpenter during her savage vows. And like the true icon she is, she didn’t give her hubby a chance to read his vows, stating that she was “done”.

During an appearance on The Kyle & Jackie O Show on March 28, the 27-year-old finally got to read his vows. And they sound like the type of love poem you’d write in middle school.

“Never did I ever think in my wildest dreams to marry a stranger in my quest to find love,” he started.

“From the moment I laid eyes on you there was an instant connection.

“You had the warmest of smiles on your face walking down the aisle and I quickly learnt that you love life just as much as I do.

“I felt that instant spark from day one and I was very intrigued to find out more. Did the experts get it right?”

Cameron then said his wedding day was filled with “lots of fun” and “laughs”. At this point, we wouldn’t be surprised if Alyssa Barmonde‘s child wrote these vows for him.

“You made a stunning bride. Which brings us to the honeymoon where we spent several days in Fraser Island really getting to know one another,” he read, before proceeding to say nothing about the honeymoon.

“The more I learn about you, the more I respect you. You’re kind, empathetic and have a very genuine heart. You always bring a positive vibe to every room. I really like that you give anything a go.”

And honestly, when does this snooze fest end?

Cameron explained why things would never work with Lyndall during his Final Vows

After re-hashing all the good times they shared, Cameron expressed that his relationship with Lyndall would never work as he struggled “being in the big city.”

“Darwin, the outback and all things that come with that lifestyle are where I belong,” he confessed.

He stated that Lyndall taught him the importance of “opening up” and “being vulnerable to love,” however, despite that, he couldn’t see a future between them.

“We live in different states. We live completely different lifestyles. Being together would mean one of us has to change our lives completely,” he said. And yes Cameron, that’s how relationships tend to work.

He then explained that communication was a huge issue for the pair, stating that Lyndall had the tendency to “air out [their] dirty laundry in a public environment”, and this really “[pushed] his buttons.”

“Throughout this experiment, you have needed more affection, reassurance and emotion from me. I’ve taken the time to reflect on why I haven’t been able to give you these things. I think these things flow naturally when you’re falling in love which I’m not,” he confessed.

He ended his vows by saying: “Lyndall I truly appreciate what you’ve taught me about myself, and what I’ve learnt throughout this experiment. Now I know what I want in a life partner.”

We’re glad we never had to sit through this monstrosity because those vows were boring AF.
