Married at First Sight Australia 2024 is a go and producers are already casting their next victims.

Whilst the controversial marriage experiment isn’t known for creating long-lasting couples, the messy AF show has featured some huge personalities. And now, they’re looking for new love fame-seeking singletons to marry off in their 11th season.

If you’re unlucky in love (and keen on landing a sh*t-ton of brand deals), here’s how you can sign up for Married at First Sight 2024.

How can you apply for Married at First Sight 2024?

If you’re brave enough to sign up for the cursed show, buckle up because the MAFS application process is longer than Jesse Burford‘s ick list.

Potential brides and grooms must fulfil the following criteria to progress through the casting process:

  • You must be over 25 years of age on the day of application.
  • You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident to participate.
  • You must be single and genuinely looking for love (although it seems like production doesn’t closely monitor this condition)
  • You must provide proof of identity (but we’re sure they still accept bots)

After answering a series of general questions, you’ll also have to provide intimate details about your love life (or lack thereof). And TBH, it’s kinda like signing up for Hinge but with a WAY wider audience.

These questions will help the experts pair you with the perfect partner, or more likely, someone you’d absolutely hate to ensure maximum chaos.

The form also urges applicants to apply in an “honest and clean manner”. Harrison Boon, we’re looking at you!

You don’t have to apply to score a place on Married at First Sight 2024

Whilst a swarm of singles apply for the popular marriage experiment each year, many of the brides and grooms that have graced our screens have actually been scouted.

In episode 257 of the So Dramatic! podcast, it was revealed that 2023 groom Dan Hunjas was not only scouted for the show, but he copped a pretty sweet contract too.

“So Dan didn’t apply for MAFS, they scouted him,” a source explained, adding he was specifically “found for Sandy [Jawanda]“.

The 42-year-old originally rejected the offer. However, the spy later dished that he agreed because he was able to “negotiate really good terms in his contract.” So yes, it seems like Dan was really looking for love. Not!
