The following day, the Gold Coast couple took to Instagram to acknowledge the sale.

“Hi, everyone. Thank you all for your beautiful messages. It has been overwhelming,” they wrote on their Instagram Story.

“We did hear about the sale and we’re glad we can now move on. We’re so excited to now focus on selling the Palm House. Big love.”

How much did Dylan and Jenny’s Block home sell for?

A Channel Nine spokesperson confirmed the Gisborne property went to a family “in what is a positive outcome for everyone”, but would not disclose a sale price

“Dylan and Jenny’s house is now a much-loved property for a family who were impressed with the high standard of the build, and incredible views of the Macedon Ranges so close to Melbourne,” the network said.

“All five properties on the most ambitious build in the history of The Block have now been sold. We look forward to starting the build on the next series of Channel Nine’s The Block very soon.”

During the now infamous auction, which saw two houses fail to sell, House Four had a reserve price of $4.08 million.

Channel Nine are yet to announce how much the home was sold for, but has indicated the figure will not be made public due to it being a private sale.

TCC Real Estate agent Kirrily Evans told NCA NewsWire the house sold to a “lovely family” on February 13 after falling in love with the property.

“They fell in love the minute they walked through,” she said.

How did the rest of The Block homes go at auction?

Last year’s auction day on The Block saw Omar Slaimankhel and Ozman ‘Oz’ Abu Malik net a record-breaking $1.6 million profit.

Tom Calleja and Sarah-Jane Wilson barely made it over reserve taking home just $20,000 in profit, and Rachel and Ryan Carr passed their house in to negotiate a profit of just under $170,000.

Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra from House 3 were also passed in but was thankfully later purchased by accused “dummy bidder” Adrian Portelli for his promotions business.

Their property has since been given away to Ballarat couple Kevin and Andrea in a LMCT+ raffle.
