The Block 2022 winners Omar Slaimankhel and Oz Malik have finally unveiled their final room after the series saw their Gisborne home left unfinished.
Due to time and weather constraints, the Sydney-based besties could not finish their mega build during the filming period. However, they returned to site to fix up their work-from-home office space before auction day on November 5.
Now, the duo have taken to Instagram to show off the now-complete room, thanking “everyone involved”.
“As we didn’t make reveal on the show due to things that were out of our control. Here is the finished working from home space with the outdoor area,” Omar and Oz penned on their joint The Block account.
“Thank you everyone involved.”
The office space — which is joined to the property’s YUGE garage — features a raked ceiling, dark cabinetry, aged leather seating and a moody palm-print wallpaper from Grafico.
The adjacent outdoor patio includes a barbeque and sitting area for guests.
TBH, it’s the perfect final touch to their renovation, which sold to multimillionaire Danny Wallis for a record-breaking $5,666,666.
Several fans took to the comment section to sing Omar and Oz’s praises over the reveal.
“Winner by far!” one wrote, while another penned: “Lavish class is what u gentlemen exude in everything you do [sic]”.
The room was originally left unfinished due to poor weather conditions during filming. However, the boys were the only contestants not to reveal a room that week.
“It does feel like we haven’t had the right end of the deal on this Block at all,” Omar said at the time.
“It’s not fair.”
