Fans of Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne‘s Life Uncut podcast are now trolling Abbie Chatfield after she called out Brittany for slut-shaming her.

The blame game has been in full swing since Abbie dropped an episode of her podcast, It’s a Lot, on December 13, calling out The Kyle and Jackie O Show‘s Kyle Sandilands and stand-in host Brittany for making offensive comments about her sexuality live on air.

The back and forth between Brittany, Abbie, Laura and your neighbour’s best friend’s cousin (just kidding!) has been intense, and now Life Uncut fans have officially joined the chat.

Since Abbie’s pod episode dropped on December 13, the reviews section on Apple Podcasts has been bombarded with poor one-star reviews referencing her IRL beef with her fellow The Bachelor Australia alum ever since.

What are people saying about Abbie Chatfield in her podcast reviews?

Several reviews label the 27-year-old a “narcissist” and a “bully”, with one user adding that the podcast is just another “platform for Abbie to drive hate”.

“Abbie is a bully, for someone who received so much hate on social media back when she did the bachie [sic], you’d think she’d not be the ring leader of online bullying,” they penned on December 14.

“Horrible self-centred ‘dear diary’ podcast.”

Another wrote: “Abbie’s whole brand is looking for an opportunity to publicly attack others and create a pile on under the guise of ‘feminism’ just to drive engagement.”

“Over opinionated and over rated [sic],” a third jaded onlooker said. “Will someone put her in the bin already! Basic white girl, who claims to be educated (her opinion is NEVER wrong). Poor me mentality.

“If you need your ears to bleed, this is the podcast for you! I feel sorry for anyone who knows her personally, what a joke of a human.” Yikes.

Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne’s Life Uncut podcast was also recently called out via podcast reviews

The Life Uncut podcast similarly copped poor reviews, albeit with more constructive criticism than the above.

While Brittany apologised for her “misogynistic tone” when discussing Abbie on the radio, Laura took to Instagram to fan the flames by criticising Abbie for hosting the upcoming reality show FBoy Island.

Their official podcast page has since been flooded with one-star reviews, with many suggesting their complaints were being blocked or censored by the Life Uncut hosts on other social media platforms.

“The fact that you guys are just removing comments on social media to try and further cover-up/minimise Brittany’s actions is laughable. You’re just as bad for defending her, Laura. Unfollowing,” one fan wrote.

Another penned: “The recent events with Abbie Chatfield are even more disappointing. The apology felt disingenuous and Laura’s contribution felt like digging a deeper hole in the name of defending her friend, whose actions should not be defended and instead should be held accountable by friends, especially ones who claim to uphold feminist values.

“It has made me completely reassess wanting to listen to the podcast or champion the Life Uncut brand.”
