The Bachelor Australia alums Britt Hockley and Laura Byrne have seemingly landed a full-time radio gig at KIIS FM with their Life Uncut show.
ICYMI: Britt (who featured on the Honey Badger‘s season of Bachie) and Laura (who won Matty Johnson‘s heart in 2017) turned their wildly successful podcast into a two-hour weekly radio special in early 2022.
Now, as reported in episode 221 of the So Dramatic! podcast, their popularity has pushed them into the daily 3pm PickUp timeslot.
One insider who works at KIIS FM told So Dramatic! that the reality stars have been “offered a multimillion-dollar deal with ARN [Hosting] the 3pm PickUp weekdays in 2023, as well as continuing their podcast, Life Uncut,” they dished.
However, their new appointment means that the current hosts, Kate Langbroek, Yumi Stynes and Monty Diamond, “will be out of a gig”.
“They don’t want to announce it until the end of November.”
ARN Are Reportedly “Focusing All Budgets and Money” Towards Life Uncut
The source then revealed that ARN is putting whole lotta money and effort into making The 3pm PickUp with Life Uncut the number one show.
“There have been internal instructions to focus all budgets from the sales team and money into the show with the talent costing so much,” they said.
“They have many podcasts and radio shows with ARN, including Kyle and Jackie O and Jonesy and Amanda, but now they will be focusing the majority of the revenue towards building Britt and Laura up and making them their prime focus.”
News of the epic new gig comes just days after the duo’s first book; We Love Love, was released.
