The Bachelor Australia breakout stars Laura Byrne AND Abbie Chatfield are both tipped to join The Project as hosts in 2023 as part of a “youthful” rebrand.

The speculation surrounding new hosts for Channel 10’s current affairs program comes after Carrie Bickmore, Pete Helliar and Lisa Wilkinson‘s shock departures.

Ten are reportedly on the hunt for “fresh faces” to join Waleed Aly and Carrie’s replacement, Sarah Harris, in the new year, according to Woman’s Day.

The ABC’s Tony Armstrong is also rumoured to be high on the network’s wishlist.

“They’re hoping to get some fresh faces on the panel,” an insider told the publication.

They then added that they’re aiming for the “biggest noisemakers” around to get the show back to its heyday of juggernaut ratings.
