ICYMI: The long-time project host, 41, announced that she was expecting a baby girl during the October 26 episode of the panel show.

According to the podcaster, she is “doing it solo” and admitted that people were shocked by the decision.

“I’m doing it solo, which is great for me, but you find when you tell people it’s hilarious because they think it’s a choice of last resort,” she said.

“Then you have to spend the next 30 minutes explaining you’re not crying yourself to sleep at night. But for me, it’s the perfect decision. It feels like exactly the right thing to do, and I’m really excited.”

Rachel Corbett was the First Intruder EVER on Big Brother Australia

During the inaugural season of Big Brother Australia in 2001, Rachel entered the house as the first-ever intruder.

Before her reality TV stint, the then fresh-faced 19-year-old was studying law at university.

And even though she entered the house with high expectations, she was voted out after just four days.

After this, the Aussie media staple launched her media career, co-hosting The Morning Madhouse on Triple M, before appearing on other shows, including the Hot30 Countdown with Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O and a summer fill-in show for NOVA.

In an interview with Radio Info in 2009, the media commentator said she had tried to “distance” herself from her Big Brother tenure.

“Part of my past that I’ve tried to distance myself from and have so far succeeded,” she told the outlet. “I never for one moment thought about a career in entertainment either. I just knew I wanted to get out of law.”
