The saying “birds of a feather flock together” has never been more true than when we discovered Married at First Sight 2022‘s Daniel Holmes is friends with Love Island 2022‘s Callum Hole.

With every show, the reality star pyramid scheme gets all the more confusing now we have two more names to add to that tangled web!

As reported in episode 232 of the So Dramatic! podcast, host Megan Pustetto exclusively revealed that the reality beaus are besties from the Gold Coast.

Daniel even told to So Dramatic! that they’ve been mates for years and met through the gym scene.

So, not only are Daniel and Callum friends, but their eight packs are, too!

When asked whether he gave the Wales-born Islander any advice for his foray onto reality TV, Daniel said, “not necessarily”.

“We just talk in general,” he admitted. “I said, ‘Producers don’t have your best interest, so be careful.

“‘But it’s not edited like MAFS, so you’re all good’.”

Given Daniel has alleged he was depicted as a way bigger d*ck than he actually is, is he saying that the Love Island producers are just airing the unfiltered version of Callum?!

Lord, have mercy on these f*ckbois…

Layla John Says There Is Lots We Didn’t See of her Love Island Bae Callum Hole

While fans wanted to reach through the screen and shake some sense into Layla John, the Love Island dumpee said that despite Callum’s questionable behaviour, very little of their “real relationship” was shown.

“We definitely had something worth fighting for,” she told So Dramatic! following her elimination. “Look, we’re filmed 24/7, so not much of our real relationship was even aired.”

Acknowledging that the series only seemed to portray the “worst bits” of their romance, Layla said she could understand why fans thought she was a “pushover” when it came to forgiving Callum’s behaviour — particularly after that cooked game of Truth or Dare.

“Watching it back, I actually knew everything [that happened between Callum and the bombs],” she admitted. “He told me everything, like, we had so many conversations about it and stuff, so I wasn’t surprised.

“They don’t show everything. They don’t have enough time on TV to show [everything]. So, from an audience point of view, I totally see why they think I’m being a pushover. I actually agree with them.

“But there’s more to the story.”
