Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Daniel Holmes is advocating for free speech by declaring he’s siding with a number of extremely polarising public figures.
Taking to Instagram on October 26, the TV groom cryptically told his followers, “there’s a shift coming”.
“Censorship and cancel culture is being overthrown!”
In a subsequent post, he listed that he was on a “team” with several personalities who have seemingly been impacted by “cancel culture”.
The 31-year-old highlighted Kanye West (A.K.A Ye), Andrew Tate, former US President Donald Trump and Youtuber Stephen Deleonardis (also known as SteveWillDoIt).
Under the list, Daniel wrote that he was “Team Free Speech”.
The head-scratching post comes after Kanye was dumped by several of his brand collaborators after expressing several antisemitic sentiments.
The Stronger rapper also had his Instagram and Twitter accounts locked due to his offensive takes.
Similarly, Andrew Tate was booted from TikTok due to fears that his content spread violent and misogynistic messages.
When So Dramatic! reached out to Daniel about his comments, he said: “There’s not one statement I can say to sum it up.”
However, he did add that he’s “fine with the hate”.
“I’m always gonna do what I feel is right to me,” he explained. “Knowing it’s favourable or not.”

It wasn’t long before Daniel’s posts gained traction online, with several reality TV fans hitting out at his “f*cked” Story.
“Of course, he is team misogyny,” one user penned. “Stop giving this clown airtime.”
Meanwhile, another commented on the amateur boxer‘s alignment with antisemitism.
“This just in: local f*ckwad thinks antisemitism is free speech.”
Others just couldn’t believe Daniel was “doing this so publicly”. And yup, we can’t believe it either.
“Let’s hope he gets banned from socials. He is putrid,” a MAFS fan penned. “He acted so nice and innocent on the show but really he is a misogynist pig.”
