Daniel Holmes reckoned he’d “shag” one of the Married at First Sight Australia 2022 producers, and that would have been quite the plot twist.
The 31-year-old boxer played a lighthearted game of “f*ck, marry, kill” during an Instagram Q&A on October 18.
Yep, that’s right! While the MAFS world burned around him amid the ongoing Domenica Calarco saga, Danny-boy was out here playing a game normally reserved for 14-year-old slumber parties (and we kind of love that for him).
After sharing his own thoughts on the feud, Daniel revealed who he would “sh**t, shag or marry”.
The fan who asked for this totally vital info actually wanted to know who he’d chosen in the 2022 season, but Daniel went a little rogue.
The former personal trainer admitted the person he’d “shag” from Married at First Sight (adjacently, at least) is executive producer Tara McWilliams. Soz to Carolina!
Daniel also revealed he’d off “that Jamie [Gardner] chick from last season” and marry Beck Zemek.
Okay, But Who is Married at First Sight Producer Tara McWilliams?
Tara McWilliams is an executive producer for Endemol Shine who has been previously credited with transforming Married at First Sight into the scandal-filled ratings juggernaut that we know and love to hate today.
She’s also the mastermind behind Love Triangle with fellow MAFS EP John Walsh.
Back in February, Tara revealed to Mediaweek that she believes it isn’t “realistic” to expect all the brides and grooms to be “only motivated by finding love”.
“It would be insulting to say that we are purely looking for people that are 100 per cent genuine and only motivated by finding love because that’s not realistic,” she told the publication. LOL!
She refocused the show to find contestants who were keen to be on TV or find fame while still being open to finding their potential soulmates. It seems like a good compromise to us!
She’s now moved to a new role as Endemol Shine‘s “director of content”, so the MAFS 2023 might see a bit of a shakeup from the drama-driven formula. Oh no?!
