The Masked Singer Australia 2022 fans were shocked to discover Tori Spelling may have been using auto-tune when performing as Poodle.
The controversy reared its head after the ICONIC 90210 star failed to perform one final song after she was unmasked during the August 24 episode.
However, since she was a special one-night-only guest, it seemed they decided to forgo the additional piece.
Since the 90s star didn’t do a live performance (where we could see her mouth moving), some fans suspected that her songs were either altered or prerecorded.
But, um, isn’t that a part of the show? The panellists have repeatedly mentioned that the contestants often altered their voices to make guessing more difficult. Babes, that’s auto-tuning!
Tori has a unique voice, so she spoke with a French accent throughout her clue package, so we’re not surprised they wanted to confuse everyone!
Tori Spelling Was Nervous About Performing Live on The Masked Singer Australia
Despite her lengthy TV resume, the 49-year-old actress admitted she felt nervous about performing in front of a live audience.
‘When I was little, someone told me I was tone deaf, so I gave up. I gave up that dream, but I always loved it in my heart,’ Tori told the judges.
While she may have plucked up the courage to perform with a mask, perhaps Tori wasn’t comfortable singing live.
