Big Brother Australia’s “master manipulator” Tim Dormer has finally addressed his bitter Twitter feud with fellow OG Estelle Landy that irreversibly “ruined” their friendship.

After being evicted on July 6, Tim addressed his third Big Brother stint on his The Big Mouth podcast, as well as offering up a lot of juicy details on his relationship with Estelle.

“It [the Twitter feud] was really sad because we were friends going into the game,” Tim said, explaining they had been close since 2013.

Tim recalled receiving a phone call from Estelle a month before the Fan vs Faves season started filming.

“I thought ‘oh wow, they’ve asked her to do it’ and I immediately was nervous because I knew she would want to play together and something in me just thought ‘oh no, this is trouble’,” he said, before adding: “And trouble, it was!

“It was really hard playing that game with Estelle, and she would agree the other way around. What’s awful is a really good friendship might have been ruined by that game.”

Tim Dormer Breaks Down Why He Said Estelle Landy was “Big Brother’s Amber Heard” on Twitter

Tim admitted he didn’t know whether he “ruined” his real-life friendship with Estelle.

“I don’t know if playing that game together cost us our friendship and that’s not worth it,” he said.

“I have to talk about the elephant in the room. That awful Twitter feud and what I said was not right,” Tim admitted.

“I need to apologise to Estelle, to anyone who I offended. That was me, that was my big mouth speaking out of hurt.”

Tim then explained that he felt “really sad” because of what Estelle said about him on Twitter.

“I thought she knew me better, that I’m not nasty and I’m not a bully, I wasn’t verbally abusive,” he said.

“Watching the show as it went to air and reading some of Estelle’s comments, I think she was trying to back up her gameplay, but at times, it made me feel like it was an attack on me.

“I feel like she was really offended by my game moves and criticised my character, which hurt. When I turn around and say ‘it’s just a game’, for her it wasn’t just a game, and it shouldn’t be just a game, I guess.

“If I’m honest, it isn’t ‘just a game’ and I don’t want that game to have cost me a friend.”

Tim went on to reveal he has since “reached out to Estelle” and apologised for the tweet.

“I’d actually like to chat [to Estelle] before the game is over, before the finale. I hope she calls up and I hope we can put our differences aside and actually focus on what we had in common,” he said.

Big Brother’s Tim Dormer Revealed How He Became Friends with Estelle Landy

Tim was intended to be an intruder during the ninth season of Big Brother Australia in 2012 — Estelle’s first season of the show.

“I’m watching it and thinking, ‘I cannot wait to go in there and team up with Estelle and take down Ben Norris‘,” Tim recalled.

Production eventually decided to bring Tim on to be a housemate in the 2013 season instead, which he went on to win.

“It was probably the best thing for me because I don’t think I would have won had I gone in as an intruder,” Tim said.

“But Estelle and I met each other eventually after I won, and we formed a really close friendship. I think the first night we met, we ended up stripping down nude and jumping into the ocean.”

Tim said they both felt like they were “rainbow children”, which he defined as “the weirdos, the misfits who are maybe a little bit spiritually gifted”.

“She had her intuition, I’ve got my magic whatever you want to call it. I think she’s a witch, I think I’m a wizard,” he said.

“We were both such weirdos, I think we recognised it in each other that we were misfits. We would call each other up regularly, we would see each other. It was a really beautiful friendship, I think we got each other on another whole level.”
