The Big Brother Australia fandom has been left scratching their heads after returning OG Tim Dormer dragged 2012 winner Ben Norris into his IRL feud with co-star Estelle Landy.
To quickly recap: Tim and Estelle have been tearing chunks out of each other on social media after the latter claimed Tim and Anthony “Drew” Drew treated her like a “punching bag” while in the house.
However, fan-fave Tim refuted her claims of “abuse”, tweeting that Estelle has a history of creating “false narratives”.
“It’s not the first time either with this narrative,” he wrote on Twitter on June 7. “Ben Norris will let you know.”
He later said that he will continue to “stand up for [himself], Drew” and “Ben Norris too”.
So, what the hell does Ben have to do with all of this?
Following season nine of Big Brother, Estelle alleged that Ben bullied her during their time in the house.
As told to the Sydney Morning Herald in 2012, Ben openly described his co-star as “annoying” but didn’t believe it counted as bullying.
As revealed in episode 193 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one source explained that Tim and Estelle “dragged Ben’s name through the mud for years”, due to their belief that he had bullied her.
“The last six months in particular, since Big Brother [2022] started, they were spreading disgusting rumours about him,” they said.
The insider added “no one stuck up for Ben”, including his “good friends” Regina “Reggie” Bird and Dave Graham after they heard allegations that he was a “horrible person”.
According to the source, Tim and Estelle told people that Ben’s 2012 win was “rigged” due to his friendship with a producer. Estelle also reportedly claimed that Ben “shut down” any media opportunities that were presented to her.

Despite Estelle’s claims, the Big Brother insider said that the 2012 co-stars were actually “good friends” following the show.
“Ben even took her on a holiday and paid for flights and accommodation because she couldn’t afford it,” they explained. “He always looked after her when she wasn’t coping.”
However, the real zinger is that Estelle “told people she didn’t speak to Ben after the show because he’s such a bully”.
“She has a way of manipulating the narrative to always play the victim,” the source said. “It’s a pattern for her.”
The source also revealed that Estelle had called out co-star Layla Subritzky for bullying her, too. Ooft.
Now, it appears that Tim has woken up to her tricks, standing up against Estelle online.
“I supported the ‘victim’ of so-called bullying for nine years until I realised who the real victims were in this story,” he penned.
“We’re by no means perfect, but won’t accept the roles of villains that she needed in her life.”
