Sound the alarm — twice! Netflix’s hit series Selling Sunset has been renewed for not one, but two more seasons.

On June 23, the streaming juggernaut announced that Selling Sunset will be returning for its sixth and seventh season, with filming set to kick off in the coming months.

The popular series follows property agents at The Oppenheim Group as they traverse mega-mansions in the workplace and mega drama in their personal lives.

In a continuation of its fifth season (which launched in April), fans will welcome back the likes of founder Jason Oppenheim, his ex Chrishell Stause and fellow realtor Mary Fitzgerald back to the small screen. We already have our fingers crossed for a G Flip cameo, too!

At this stage, there’s been no confirmation whether drama queen and tiny chair purse owner Christine Quinn will feature in the coming seasons. Her role is in limbo at The Oppenheim Group after she didn’t participate in the season five reunion.

Meanwhile, OG cast member Maya Vander won’t be returning for season six following the devastating loss of her third child and subsequent miscarriage.

Netflix Is Cashing In On Property Reality TV

Given Selling Sunset has been such a hit, Netflix has continued to up its catalogue of property reality TV.

After all, there’s no better investment than capitalising on viewers’ love for judging multi-million dollar mansions with a wine in hand, amirite?

In 2021, Netflix dropped Selling Tampa and traded up for an all-female cast from Florida’s Allure Realty.

Netflix's Selling Sunset has taken the reality TV world by storm, and now they've dropped the first spin-off, Selling Tampa.

Now, along with the announcement of two more Sunset seasons, the streaming service has teased the launch date for Selling the OC.

In the spinoff, a new slate of Oppenheim realtors will compete to rack up business at the Orange County office.

But how will they stack up against the OGs? We’ll have to wait until it drops on Netflix on August 24 to find out.
