Netflix’s breakout success, Selling Sunset, has captivated audiences for five seasons, however, like all reality TV shows all is not as it seems — particularly when it comes to where the Oppenheim team actually work.

Thanks to a sneaky So Dramatic! spy who is holidaying in LA, it looks as though the cast only film on Sunset Boulevard and do not work full-time at the premises.

While we’re 100% sure they used to work on the premises physically, the office seems to now only be used for filming purposes.

“The windows were all blacked out and there was also a sign out the front that said ‘no public access,'” the source dished.

“I didn’t feel comfortable peeking in as I’ve seen the cast film other people peering in when filming, but I don’t think they were there that day and it was 11 am!”

Where is Selling Sunset Filmed?

The hit TV show is filmed on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, and at the time of publication, the address of the office on their official website remains.

Obviously, having the address enables fans to see the office, however, the actual work takes place elsewhere.

To be honest, this story checks out, because it seems like no one is ever doing any actual work. I mean have you seen anything happening on those laptops?

Jason Oppenheim’s Major Editing Fail

Fans of the show have also been quick to point out how fake the TV show is — but like, the drama is so good, you just can’t stop watching!

During episode seven of season five, Jason Oppenheim was caught red-handed in an awkward blunder.

People were quick to point out that Jason’s camera was clearly visible while he was “on a very important phone call”.

While it is possible that he may have accidentally swiped to another app, given that this is reality TV, chances are it was, in fact, not real at all!

But do you know what is real? Star Chrishell Stause’s relationship with Aussie musician G Flip! We LOVE to see it.
