We’ve heard rumours that there’s a celebrity spin-off of Married at First Sight Australia, however, it turns out that that’s not the most exciting thing to come out of the franchise next year. 2023 will bring us a REUNION!

As reported in episode 186 of the So Dramatic! podcast, host Megan Pustetto revealed that there’s also going to be a f*ck off 10 year reunion dinner party, which will feature old contestants from the franchise.

The reunion will take place over two nights and will include a couch session with the experts.

Which Contestants Will Be Involved?

The reunion special will air before season 10 begins and while plenty of contestants will be invited — including success stories Cam Merchant and Jules Robinson and Olivia Frazer and Jackson Lonie — others will not be.

One such couple is Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson.

According to a source, the season eight villain fought tooth and nail for a spot, however, producers said: “Not a chance!” LOL.

“They want nothing to do with him after the way he has slammed the show,” the source dished. “He’s apparently planning to take legal action against the network but at the same time he’s begging to go back on the show. It makes no sense!”

What About Celebrity Married at First Australia?

Even though there will be a reunion special AND a season 10, they are still currently casting celebrities for an all-star version.

“They are currently casting celebs for the spin-off and hope there will be a celebrity version,” a So Dramatic! source said. “But it really all depends on whether they can find enough people to sign up for it.

“They may have to make it a smaller cast than usual, given they are having trouble signing people on to do it.”

Who Else Is In Talks for the Celebrity Version?

“Yes. I am in talks at the moment,” the reality star revealed. “They reached out to me. I think I will do it but I am also tossing up a number of other TV offers at the moment too so we will see.” Oooh juicy!

Another fashion influencer — who boasts over 100k followers on Instagram — said he had also been approached, however, is not sure if he will do it since it may “tarnish his already established personal brand and reputation that he has worked hard to build.”

“I am still undecided. They are begging me to do it,” he dished. “But it will depend on a few things that I am currently discussing with them now. We are figuring out some stuff at the moment.”

A celebrity MAFS spin-off was first claimed by New Idea a couple of years ago and according to the original report, Endemol Shine were set to “be bold and change things up.”

They also spilled a rumoured cast, which included the likes of Richard Reid, Yvie JonesAsh WilliamsTully Smyth, Harry T and Paulini Curuenavuli.

Honestly, we would 10/10 watch a celeb version and cannot WAIT for the drama involved with the 10-year reunion special!
