Married at First Sight Australia producers reportedly refused to test unwell participants for COVID at the 2022 season reunion.

The reunion special is now infamous after it was revealed to be a super spreader event, with many cast members revealed to have had the virus while filming.

As previously revealed by So Dramatic!, the MAFS production is currently under “investigation” by NSW Health and NSW Police due to a number of COVID breaches.

Now, as reported in episode 192 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Olivia Frazer revealed that she and Jackson Lonie were refused tests, despite being sick.

The controversial bride dropped the bombshell during a recent Instagram Q&A after someone tried to clarify whether she was unwell with the virus at the reunion.

“Yes and no,” she cryptically revealed. “During the reunion we both had COVID, but production wouldn’t test us.”

Noting that the couple “caught [COVID] on the flight” travelling to the reunion, Olivia said they were told to “just ignore it”.

“They were like, ‘just ignore it, you’re fine,'” she recalled before citing a “lack of duty of care”.

Olivia previously admitted to attending the reunion despite knowingly having the virus. However, as it turns out, she and bae Jackson weren’t the only two super spreaders at the event.

As revealed in episode 184 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Samantha Moitzi was also struck down with the Virus That Shall Not Be Named.

One of Samantha’s co-workers dobbed her into host Megan Pustetto after listening to a recent episode.

“Listening to your recent podcast talking about Olivia and Jackson having COVID during the reunion… so did Sam!” they penned.

Noting that they work together, the source said Samantha could not start back at work “because of COVID that she had while in Sydney filming the reunion”. Yikes!

While fans were quick to lump the Queenslander in with MAFS‘ “mean girls”, the insider also came to the TV bride’s defence.

“PS. Sam is actually so lovely and sweet IRL,” they confessed. “But when the reunion aired I was dumbfounded by how she acted.” Welp, so were we!

Domenica Calarco Confirms Olivia and Jackson’s COVID Status at the Reunion

During round two of an Ask Me Anything series on her Instagram stories, MAFS villain Olivia revealed that she and Jackson both had COVID while on the final couch.

“Jack and I actually caught it on our flight on the way to the reunion in January,” Olivia said in response to a fan asking if she had had COVID yet.

“I was actually very sick and couldn’t breathe and stuff, so that’s why we looked so run down at the reunion, because we were very sick with COVID.” Ummm… what?!

Following Olivia’s comments, fellow Married at First Sight 2022 bride Domenica Calarco reaffirmed the claims.

“Her and Jackson had COVID and knowingly attended the reunion,” she wrote on Facebook. “[It] was great that they passed it onto me, which I then passed onto my parents.”

Adding that it was “so selfish”, Domenica reiterated that it wasn’t production who is in the wrong.

“I just wanna be clear here too, the show did the right thing,” she penned. “At that time COVID rules had changed especially around testing etc. but for them to turn up and knowingly feel unwell… That’s what I was very angry about.”

So Dramatic! has reached out to Channel 9, as well as NSW Health and NSW Police for comment, however, had not heard back in time for publication.
