Married at First Sight Australia 2022 intruder Carolina Santos has certainly made an impression on viewers this season and some questionable comments in her MAFS audition tape are adding even more fuel to the fire.
Between showing up three hours late to her wedding with Dion Giannarelli, her involvement in the season’s cheating scandal alongside Daniel Holmes and her snide comments toward fellow bride Domenica Calarco, it’s pretty safe to say she is in viewers’ bad books.
Now, speaking in her MAFS audition, the 34-year-old has admitted that she can be a tad high maintenance – “controlling”, even – when it comes to relationships. You don’t say!
“I tend to be very controlling and a bit jealous,” Carolina admitted in her audition for Married at First Sight.
“I don’t like my boyfriend going out on like a boy’s night out,” she remarked, adding “I would just be like ‘Nup. You can’t go”.
The bride admitted that whilst she will typically post sexy photos on her social media, she “won’t put up” with her partner doing the same.
“It’s my way or the highway,” she declared.
Of her partner, Carolina added: “If he was flirting with someone I would definitely lose it.”
Oh, the irony!
Carolina Admits to Having a “Flirty Personality” In Her MAFS Audition Tape
As if her antics with Daniel hadn’t already told us enough, Carolina confessed that she does, in fact, “have a flirty personality”.
Funny, given that she and her partner-in-adulterous-crime flirt like a pair of 14-year-olds, but go on…
“Just the way that I talk to guys can be seen as flirty,” she said.
The Brazilian-born bride added: “I hope that’s not an issue. Maybe I have to watch myself”.
Ah, hindsight really is 20/20 vision, isn’t it?
As she has done with most of her flaws during the experiment, Carolina blamed her penchant for flirting on “the Latina side” of her.
“I’m quite sexy, I guess,” she remarked in her MAFS audition.
BRB, calling MAFS expert (and fellow Latina queen) Alessandra Rampolla to pull her into line again.
