Twitter has dubbed Married at First Sight Australia 2022 bride Ella Ding our unofficial best friend after she stuck up for Domenica Calarco following her jaw-dropping stoush with Olivia Frazer.

Following Domenica’s glass-smashing incident during the girls’ night, Olivia took it upon herself to inform the boys of what had happened, albeit with a lil’ bit of embellishment.

Then, when Domenica owned up and apologised to the whole group for her actions, it was blackened by Bridesmaids Dress Bandit‘s snide comments.

Enter Ella: having evolved from hornbag to homegirl, she resolutely stood up for Dom, defending the Italian bride when she wasn’t able to do it herself.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again — Married at First Sight is just as much about friendship as it is about marriage. Accordingly Ella and Domenica are our fave couple this season.

And, it seems that after last night, Twitter agrees.

Fans Were Shooketh That Nobody But Ella Had Domenica’s Back

Ella defended Domenica unreservedly, which is more than we can say for the other brides who stood back while Olivia straight up lied about what went down.

Naturally, fans were miffed that nobody else joined Ella in relaying the truth or calling Olivia out for her behaviour.

Everyone Needs A Friend Like Ella

Everyone deserves a friend who will stick by you through thick and thin, but not without holding you accountable for your actions.

We just know Domenica is going to come out stronger and better just for having met Ella in the experiment. So, it’s no surprise that Twitter has dubbed the beautician the Internet’s Best Friend.

Twitter Now Dubs Thee Queen Ella

Of course, Ella is now the absolute KWEEN of Married at First Sight.

She’s hot, she’s real, she sticks up for her mates and doesn’t stand for bullsh*t. Protect her at all costs.
