Married at First Sight Australia 2022 is chock-full of catfights and drama, but where do the brides stand with each other once the cameras stop rolling?
As much as it’s about romantic relationships, the infamous social experiment is just as much about friendships (and rivalries) as it is about marriage.
However, in the pressure-cooker environment, the participants are, if anything, set up to implode on each other. In fact, the ninth instalment of Married at First Sight has already seen a number of blushing (see also: raging) brides go head to head.
The beauty guru was quick to call out the experiment’s new addition after Jessica revealed she’d dubbed Daniel a “little bitch” for being “too emotional”.
Throughout the night, Domenica took aim at the new bride, dubbing her a “petulant child”.
A source close to production has spilled to So Dramatic! that this dinner party was the beginning of the end for Domenica and Jessica. Despite the series being done and dusted, the explosive brides both reportedly still “hate each other”.
The Married at First Sight Australia Brides Have Formed Cliques
According to the MAFS insider, the brides have (unsurprisingly) formed their own cliques during the show.
Apparently, there are two distinct friendship groups that have been maintained IRL, with Jessica, Tamara Djordjevic and Samantha Moitzi still a tight trio IRL.
On the other hand, Domenica, Ella Ding, Selina Chhaur and Selin Mengu also still keep in touch post-filming.
As for Oliva Frazer — she’s reportedly a bit of a solo act following her nit-picking of fellow bride, Holly Greenstein.
While her marriage with Jackson Lonie is relatively conflict-free, the normally quiet Olivia had a lot to say about Holly’s treatment of Texan groom Andrew Davis.
Without knowing the full extent of their tumultuous relationship, the 27-year-old doubled down on her opinion that Holly hadn’t been the “bigger person in multiple situations.”
While she made an apology at Holly’s departing Commitment Ceremony, it doesn’t appear to have got her far with her peers.
