After going MIA following his dramatic exit from Married at First Sight Australia 2022, Texan groom Andrew Davis has finally spoken about his time on the show.

As previously reported by So Dramatic!, the motivational speaker not only walked off-set, but seemingly off the face of the earth, with a number of MAFS insiders revealing they hadn’t heard from Andrew. He also opted out of all media appearances.

Cut to Monday morning, and the 39-year-old TV groom has broken his silence after failing to show up to Sunday’s Commitment Ceremony.

Andrew Davis' Married at First Sight journey will soon come to an end after it was revealed he leaves during an upcoming dinner party.

Chatting to Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa, Andrew unleashed on the experts for pairing him with Holly Greenstein.

“I don’t see how anybody could be… a kind of relationship expert,” he said of Alessandra Rampolla, Mel Schilling and John Aiken. “You think it takes a lot of experience and being in different types of relationships? So I felt like the pairing was off to begin with.”

The father-of-one also revealed that he had “absolutely not” spoken to his TV spouse since quitting MAFS. However, he did admit to expressing things he “shouldn’t have said” to Holly.

“The last dinner ceremony… I felt bad, and I came clean. I said things I shouldn’t have,” Andrew said. “I’m proud to say that I least was accountable to what I did say.”

While he hopes that Holly finds somebody she can “develop a relationship with long-term”, he still struggles with her not taking responsibility for her part in their stoush.

“I did my apologies, I tried as hard as I could to apologise to her in her presence. I still have a problem with her not being accountable to anything she says. She found it hard to do that. But I’d be nice to her if I saw her, I have no ill will. I want her to be happy.”

Andrew Davis Reveals Which Bride He’d Rather Be Paired With

Despite revealing he “100 per cent” regretted appearing on Married at First Sight, Andrew revealed that there was another bride he’d have preferred to have a crack at.

When asked which contestant he felt better suited to, Andrew cited 26-year-old Samantha Moitzi, who is currently paired with Al Perkins.

“She was cool, but I wasn’t there to meet other girls,” he admitted. “I was there to be paired with somebody and at no point was I thinking about that. But I think Sam was really nice, a lot of the girls were really nice.”

During the surprise radio interview, Andrew also confessed that he’s moved on with someone new since leaving the show.

“I have had a partner for quite a while now,” he said, adding that it is “somebody [he] was with previously”.

“[It] had kinda fell off, and then yeah, it kind of got sparked back up.”

Andrew Davis Has Dreams For More Reality TV Appearances

Despite proclaiming “that’s it” when it comes to reality TV, the American admitted there are two other shows he’d be willing to consider.

“I’d probably do SAS or Survivor,” he said. And we hate to break it to him, but we’ve seen his SAS audition… that ain’t happening.
