Married at First Sight Australia 2023‘s Harrison Boon has announced he’s making a huge career change and mark us down as scared and concerned.

The controversial AF TV groom is set to add motivational speaker and relationship guru titles to his resume, alongside his former gig as a construction worker and raging red flag.

The news was spilled during The Kyle and Jackie O Show‘s cast reunion in early April, with Harrison confessing he “wants to spread a positive message”.

According to the father-of-one, he wants to use his newfound public platform “for good”.

“Spread a positive message and have the discussions people are too scared to have,” he explained.

“There’s a lot of things out there to do with single fathers, even giving men advice to start dating again after they’ve been through a split.”

Here’s a tip, lads: whatever Harrison’s advice is, do the complete opposite.

He added: “A lot of men will give dating advice, but they don’t give post-breakup advice. How to find yourself, how to live again after a big set back like that.

“I think there’s a lot of platforms I can be spreading with this platform I have now.”

A source close to the groom also recently told Yahoo! Lifestyle he’s planning to “defend masculinity and speak up for men across Australia” in what he feels is now “a woman’s world”.

Married at First Sight‘s Harrison Boon responds to claims he’s the next Andrew Tate

Following his career news, Harrison was asked whether he sees himself becoming “Australia’s Andrew Tate“.

ICYMI: The currently-detained social media personality is known for his controversial takes on women and dating, so comparing yourself to this dude would be a total ick.

However, Harrison just laughed, suggesting he could be “America’s Harrison Boon”.

The 32-year-old then confessed he wants to hike up his controversial personality now he’s off the show.

“I should probably thank the [Nine] network because now I have so many opportunities to show who I really am beyond their sh*tty edit,” he said.

“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with using my platform for evil, I think I can become even worse now that I’ve left the show.

“They’ve got their villain, now I want to try and become a supervillain.”

We’re not sure how much of a “supervillain” Harrison can be, however.

His time on MAFS wrapped up with the entire cast laughing at him for a sad attempt to clear his name at the Reunion, and we’re positive that’s not the kind of man who will gain a legion of loyal followers in the future…
