A former classmate of The Bachelors Australia 2023’s Jed McIntosh has disputed claims that the newly-minted reality star was bullied in high school because he was a “straight man who dresses flamboyantly”.
As reported in episode 249 of the So Dramatic! podcast, an anonymous source revealed that the drummer was never “bullied” and was actually “mean to other people“. Sheesh!
The former classmate denied Jed’s statements on The Bachelors Australia that school bullies would “bash” him and “pull [his] fake nails off”.
“I went to school with Jed. He was one of the cool kids at school. Super up himself… He was never ‘alternative’. He was just a standard private schoolboy,” the source claimed.
The Bachelors Australia 2023’s Jed McIntosh was allegedly ‘mean to other people’ when he was in high school
The former classmate contacted So Dramatic! after being “flabbergasted” by the claims Jed was making on The Bachelors.
“He was someone that would be mean to other people,” they alleged.
The source continued: “He never used to paint his nails [when] he was in my class… He just said he got bullied and bashed at school and his nails ripped off! Absolutely full of lies.
“Our school was private, so very strict on bullying too,” he claimed. Uhm, we can absolutely confirm that bullying DEFINITELY still happens in private schools…
“He was the type to pick on others, he was popular and never bullied… He was always fishing for attention,” the source concluded.
Jed was also called out on Twitter in May 2022 for comments he made when he was around 14 years old.
When he was a teenager in 2011, Jed published multiple problematic Facebook posts.
It should also be noted that everybody involved was a minor at the time, and the events occurred more than a decade ago.
