The Bachelors Australia 2023‘s Tash Candyce returned to the mansion after spectacularly ditching the show, but it didn’t go exactly to plan.
As exclusively revealed by So Dramatic!, the seasoned Bachie dater (along with Marjorie Griffiths and CJ) quit the series after an uproar at the Rose Ceremony that aired on January 15.
However, Tash flew back to Sydney to reappear on The Bachelors after producers offered her an extra $5,000 to return.
“Once she left, producers were like, ‘F*ck, the show is crap without her’,” a contestant revealed. “She was the big winner for them, the one causing all the drama.
“She was also good to watch because her and Jed [McIntosh] really did have a strong connection.”
Now, as dished in episode 245 of the So Dramatic! podcast, “everyone was shocked” that Tash left when she did.
“We all thought she would be there until the end because she had a strong connection with Jed,” one contestant confessed. “She definitely would have been top two if she didn’t leave.”
Another star said: “Tash was saying the whole time that she was going to win but then she just left.”
What happened when Tash Candyce returned to The Bachelors Australia 2023?
According to The Bachelors insiders, Jed “flat out rejected” Tash when she returned to the show.
“When she came back, the other girls had told Jed things about her and he believed them,” one contestant said.
“Before she left, he wasn’t getting the full story from her and kinda fell for it all.”
Some cast members said Tash was “a certain way with him and then a totally different person when he wasn’t there”.
“I think he realised that once she left,” they continued. “One of the days, she was storming around like an idiot and he was like, ‘Wow, what’s going on?’.
“He confronted her about it and they had a fight.”
While the 31-year-old may not have had a good run on The Bachelors, it seems she’s well and truly keeping the beef alive IRL in a spicy AF group chat that’s since been leaked.
