The Bachelors Australia 2023 fans were simultaneously shocked and impressed by Thomas Malucelli and Felix Von Hofe showing their support for Jed McIntosh after he rejected Tash Candyce.

ICYMI: Tash quit the dating show after she disagreed with Jasmine Absolom being saved by Thomas. However, when she returned during the January 22 episode to confront Jed, his two co-stars were immediately concerned.

While Tash laid the flirting on thick, Thomas and Felix discussed the “horrible” things they’d heard about the season’s main antagonist.

Eventually, the 25-year-old musician made the decision to reject Tash, which was difficult for him after years of letting other partners “walk the f*ck all over” him.

“I’ve spent my whole life giving my ex-partner second chances and third chances. Just being a people pleaser. I find it hard to say ‘no’ to someone. I always try to see the best in people,” Jed explained.

He added: “This is so much more than just me saying ‘no’ to Tash. It broke a cycle that I didn’t realise I was in for so many years. It helped me form into a new man and just grow, personally.”

After Tash left, Thomas and Felix immediately rushed to Jed’s side.

“I’m so proud of you,” Thomas whispered and dang, that was intimate. Someone pass me a tissue.

Fans applauded the two men for allowing Jed to open up about his emotions and rejecting toxic masculinity.

He continued: “My whole life, I’ve just accepted people who have left me and come back. I’ve been like ‘it’s okay’ because I’ve always felt bad for them.

“That just shot me back into past relationships. I need to have more respect for myself.”

We love personal growth!
