Last night The Bachelor Australia confirmed that there will be three bachelors for the upcoming 2023 season, Felix Von HofeThomas Malucelli and Jed McIntosh.

Now, not even 24 hours after the news broke, Jed has already been called out on Twitter for making a series of disturbing statements online.

One user reposted a series of comments from 2011 in which Jed makes jokes about “rape” on Facebook.

In one comment, the Melbourne-born drummer says he and another person “are gonna rape yas [sic].” He then warns: “so watch out because theres a storm coming kids 😉 [sic].”

They have also uploaded evidence of more misogynistic comments made by Jed, including one where he admits to “having a perve” on one of his school teachers. In another, he says he wants to “smash some pussy.”

The user posted the series of tweets last night, following the official announcement of The Bachelor Australia 2022’s main cast.

Here Is What We Know About The Bachelor Australia 2023’s Jed McIntosh

Last week, Jed was revealed as the third Bachelor to front the franchise this season after it was revealed in episode 183 of the So Dramatic! podcast that there would be multiple Bachelors this year.

The Bachelor host Osher Günsberg confirmed this news on Monday night on The Project.

As per Big Sound Percussion, he is a drummer who has been playing professionally since he was 13.

Heading on tour at just 16, he soon wound up in LA working with a number of artists and has percussionist credits including gigs alongside Kylie MinoguePharrell WilliamsT-Pain and Sean Paul.

Jed is currently one-third of Melbourne-based band Mood Monroe, alongside his brother Jackson, and friend Bailey Simpson.
