Love Island Australia 2022’s Stella Hutcheon has confirmed whether she’s still dating bomb Hugh Wilcox IRL.
During the December 13 episode, the newly formed couple were dumped from the villa after Al Perkins, Tina Provis and Phoebe Spiller decided they were the least likely to make it in the real world.
It appears they were right, with Brisbane-based beauty confirming to So Dramatic! that she is officially single!
“Hugh and I decided when we left the villa that we would just be single. It was mostly due to [us living] interstate and we hadn’t built a strong enough connection in there,” Stella explained.
She added: “But I went down to Melbourne. a few weeks ago. My family live down there and I did make the effort to go down and see Hugh. His twin sister Madeline [Wilcox] came with us as well. We went on a cute little wine tour.
“I have seen him and I do stay in touch. We message and he checks in. He’s continued to be really nice and kind to me.”
But their relationship will probs remain platonic from now on, according to the 24-year-old reality star.
“To be honest, I think that maybe we’re kind of a little bit different… yeah, different people once we had left the Villa,” Stella told 9Now.
Hugh echoed similar sentiments, telling the publication: “We obviously don’t live in the same state, but we’ve hung out a few times and it’s been fun.
“I’m still very much single, and I’m sure we’ll hang out in future. We’ll see what happens, for sure,” he said.
