Obviously, it’s no surprise that reality shows these days are littered with actors trying to make a name for themselves, but it does seem a lil’ sus when they don’t disclose their side gigs.
Like, come on — is this the Spanish villa or Summer Bay?
As reported in episode 237 of the So Dramatic! podcast, both Claudia Bonifazio and Tak Chipangura are listed as actors on IMDb.
Now, Tak is already a rapper, so we guess acting kind of goes hand-in-hand with the music biz?
According to his profile, he starred as Vlad Bondarinko in the low-budget Aussie film Anthology in 2015.
Meanwhile, Claudia has a more extensive acting resume, having featured in several films and TV shows.
In 2018, she played Martina in a TV series called Wanted, which also starred Aussie acting royalty Rebecca Gibney.
That same year she played Amahli in Going for Gold, two years after appearing in the 2016 series Goober.
The 23-year-old also has two upcoming films listed on IMDb: Spithood and 30 Minutes, which are in production and pre-production, respectively.
They are both set to be released in 2023.
Which other Love Island Australia 2022 stars have acting careers?
As reported in episode 235 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Stella Hutcheon is also known for her acting chops.
One spy slid into our DMs, alerting us to an Instagram video about vaccines.
“I was doing a random stalk and came across this video. Is this Stella from Love Island?” they asked.
The clip was from 28 weeks earlier and posted by creators Justin Ryan and Julian Woods, and stars Stella acting as a nurse.
Not only is Stella an actor, but her short-lived villa bae Ben Gleeson (#GoneTooSoon) is also passionate about being in front of the camera.
His Love Island bio even states it in plain sight!
“Sydney-based personal trainer Ben was once an accountant having studied economics, but decided to follow his real passion which has led him to Love Island Australia,” it reads.
“As well as working as a PT, Ben is a keen actor, studying the craft and hoping to follow in the footsteps of Hugh Jackman who went to the same school as him in Sydney.”

Revealed in episode 233 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Ben also has a profile with The Right Fit, an influencer, model and actor database.
His profile is verified and lists him as a model and actor who charges up to $1,000 a day for his acting services.
If his Love Island exit speech is anything to go by, we just know he’s acting as “a ghost sitting next to you, to guide you every step of the way”.
