Love Island Australia 2022’s Jess Losurdo has jumped into the Twitter firing line after fans believed she was being overly “possessive” towards Al Perkins.
During the December 6 episode, the Married at First Sight Australia alum had a very interesting wake-up call as pot-stirrer Callum Hole introduced him to the villa’s latest bomb, Maddy Wilcox.
Jess quickly heard through the grapevine that Al had told the blonde bombshell that he was “open”, despite having recently spent the night with his current bae in the Hideaway.
“It’s frustrating how words get turned around the villa. How things get twisted,” Al said, denying he told Maddy that he was interested.
Al admitted that he was concerned about how much “reassurance” Jess needed in the early stages of their relationship. He even questioned how they would work outside the villa, and ouch!
“She’s really got to calm down and not just think of the worst-case scenario,” Al said, appearing as though he was carefully choosing his words. Smart move, mate!
But unlike Al, Love Island Australia fans didn’t hold back. The Twitterverse quickly labelled Jess as overly “possessive”, “insecure” and “reactive”.

Who Are Love Island Australia 2022‘s Latest Bombshells?
Maddy was the latest female bomb to cause a stir in the Love Island Australia villa, but she was soon joined by her male doppelganger… Literally.
Mads’ twin brother Hugh Wilcox arrived later that day, but the new bombs (or the producers) decided to keep their sibling connection a secret.
While we all checked that we hadn’t somehow switched to watching Netflix’s Dated and Related, the twins started grafting.
They even talked each other up to the other islanders, which totes wasn’t deeply uncomfortable to watch.
“I’m the ultimate wingman for Mads. I’m her twin, I know everything about her. I know what type of guy she goes for so I’m definitely going to give her a hand with that one,” Hugh said.
Mads even pointed out that she had “so many options” now that Hugh walked in the villa.
Hugh replied that he had a “soft spot for blondies,” and yep, we officially hate this.
Nothing like a completely normal sibling dynamic to spice things up in the villa, hey?
